APC faithful in Kosofe endorse Ogbara, pledge support for Tinubu

Thousands of youths, women and supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Friday staged a solidarity walk across Kosofe Federal Constituency in Lagos State in support of the member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives,  Kafilat Ogbara, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The rally, which coincided with the third anniversary of Ogbara’s tenure in the National Assembly, attracted participants from communities including Kosofe, Ikosi-Isheri and Agboyi-Ketu.

Organisers said the event was aimed at celebrating Ogbara’s stewardship over the past three years and expressing support for President Tinubu’s administration and efforts to address insecurity across the country.

Carrying banners and placards with inscriptions such as “Kosofe Unites for Ogbara and Asiwaju” and “Continuity for Progress,” participants marched through major roads in the constituency amid chants of solidarity.

Speaking at the event, youth leader,  Ahmad Adebayo, described the turnout as evidence of the lawmaker’s grassroots acceptance.

“They spent weeks fabricating fake victories and trying to create confusion online, but it took the real people of Kosofe just 12 hours to come outside and clear all doubts,” Adebayo said.

He added: “We did not gather today just to celebrate three years of unmatched empowerment, infrastructure and federal representation. We gathered to send a message that the grassroots want continuity.  Ogbara remains our choice.”

Party stakeholders and community leaders commended participants for maintaining peace and urged supporters to remain law-abiding while respecting the APC’s internal processes.
