Years ago, if she had been told that she would become a Grammy-winning singer and an easy cover girl for a glamorous magazine, she would likely have doubted. She was young and naive and generally inexperienced then.

But life has been pretty good for South African singer Tyla. it has been one win after the other for her and she wouldn’t want it another way.

The singer has just made the cover of V magazine, further amplifying her appeal across South Africa.

In a post on its official Instagram page, the magazine shared the cover while celebrating the appeal of her song “Water,” as well as her eponymous album which continues to push her appeal on the global stage.

Tyla has been around for a while, but her biggest break came with the release of the song “Water.” This song has since watered the path of her growth, earning her a Grammy award at 22 and pushing her star into the global music universe.

Today, she is a darling to many South Africans and also one of the most followed South African musicians on Instagram, with a fan base of almost 9 million. Indeed, for Tyla, life is beautiful.
